Description: Decades after W. C. Fields starred in the pre-code comedy short The Dentist (1932) and just a couple of years after Corbin Bernsen reprised his titular role in the slasher sequel The Dentist 2 (1998), audiences opened up their eyes wide and said “Ahhh!” to the horror spoof The Dentist (1996). In the R rated flick, Mr. Bernsen plays Dr. Alan Feinstone, a successful dentist who has it all: a great career, a gorgeous wife Brooke (Linda Hoffman), and an extreme case of obsessive compulsive disorder! When he finds out the tooth — that his sexy spouse is having an affair with the manly pool boy (Michael Stadvec), he goes off the deep end and begins carrying out horrible dental experiments on his patients.
