Description: The Filipino-American film Savage! (1973) is one of those exploitation movies that combines about a dozen different genres into one movie, from Blaxploitation to Sexploitation to Junglesploitation! James Iglehart stars as the title character, a former soldier who gets recruited to work with the ruthless military dictatorship controlling an unnamed Central American country to help them squash a rebellion. However, after seeing just how vicious the men he’s working for are, Savage switches sides and decides to fight alongside the rebels to overthrow the government, enlisting two old friends, acrobat Amanda (Carol Speed) and expert knife-thrower Vicki (Lada Edmund, Jr.), to aid in the fight!
