Litsoneras (2023) [Philippines]

Review: High school student Elria (Yen Durano) lives with her father while her mother Minerva (Jamilla Obispo) works abroad. Upon her return, Minerva announces that she wants a divorce and Elria soon discovers the reason is because her mother has been having an affair with one of her young employees named Jonas (Victor Relosa). To make matters worse, Elria learns Jonas is duping her mother and playing with her feelings, so Elria comes up with a plan to break them up and expose Jonas for who he really is by sleeping with him, but her plan ultimately backfires. You can really see the family resemblance as Yen and Jamilla flaunt their fabulous T’n’A multiple times during the film. Like mother, like daughter!
