Minx (2022)

Review: America in the 1970s was a hot bed for feminist ideologies and the growth of the women’s liberation movement. So for the young feminist Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), getting a magazine published that reflects her progressive, female driven agenda is her dream. Then she meets Doug (Jake Johnson), a seedy magazine man of “Bottom Dollar Publications”, the only publisher that is willing to help her get her dream off the ground. He has one caveat though, the magazine needs to be called Minx, and it needs to be a nudie mag for the ladies! So Joyce adjusts her expectations to work with the soft-core pornographer because even with some penises in the centerfold, she can still get the message across to ladies all over the country and probably help get them a little horny in the process too!
