Description: Also called La santa piccola or The Little Saint, this Italian drama focuses on a set of siblings, Lino (Francesco Pellegrino) and his younger sister Annaluce (Sophia Guastaferro). The two live with their crippling depressed mother (Pina di Gennaro), with Lino forced to serve as both the breadwinner and caretaker of the family. Their lives are forever altered when a dove crashes into a statue of the Virgin Mary during a religious procession, and Annaluce appears to miraculously heal it.
